EREN Groupe announces the signature of a final agreement for the acquisition of Delta Dore EMS and reinforces its position as a key player in the field of buildings’ ecological transition.
Paris, October 7, 2021 – EREN Groupe announces the signature of a final agreement confirming the 100% acquisition of Delta Dore EMS, a company specialised in "Smart Building" (smart building management). This transaction will enable EREN Groupe to strengthen its activities and expertises aiming at coping with the global challenge of carbon emissions reduction. The closing of this transaction is expected at the end of October.
Energy optimisation and decarbonisation solutions for buildings are a key issue in the fight against global climate warming. From the simple control of the building’s technical equipments towards the management of energy and CO2 emissions, intelligent building management is continuously evolving to maximize the real estate sector’s overall performance. This ecological transition of buildings is now supported by new favourable regulatory and social contexts across France and Europe.
As a supplier of customised solutions for comfort and energy performance, Delta Dore EMS acts to improve buildings’ energy consumption. The company is characterised by its local footprint, its capacity to invest in R&D and a presence in Asia, a region with a high potential. Delta Dore EMS managed to develop a widely recognised expertise in the implementation of complex projects, in the operation and maintenance of installed systems and in energy efficiency consulting.
Delta Dore EMS will remain a stand-alone operational entity by becoming a fully owned subsidiary of EREN TES and will remain under the management of its current CEO, Jean-Christophe Roehrig. During a transition period, Delta Dore EMS will continue to operate under the brand name "Delta Dore", while its new identity is being created.
Delta Dore EMS's expertise in Smart Building and EREN Groupe's recognised know-how in improving buildings’ energy efficiency are complementary. This integration within EREN Groupe offers solid development prospects for Delta Dore EMS, which has a turnover of €18 million and 125 employees. Delta Dore EMS enables EREN Groupe to complete its portfolio of solutions to accelerate in the ecological transition and decarbonisation of buildings.
Pâris Mouratoglou, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Founder of EREN Groupe, announced: "We are very pleased to welcome the Delta Dore EMS teams to EREN Groupe. This alliance will enable us to provide our customers and the market with ever more efficient and competitive solutions to accelerate the ecological transition of buildings. By strengthening its position in a market undergoing both rapid transformation and strong growth, EREN Groupe is consolidating its position as a key player in the contribution to the energy transition and the achievement of carbon neutrality."
Frédéric Kurkjian, CEO of Delta Dore, declared: "As announced last June with the acquisition of Rademacher, the sale of our Smart Building branch confirms Delta Dore's refocus on our core business: connected home. We are delighted that EREN Groupe, with whom we have many similarities, has acquired the Smart Building branch, as we are convinced that this will open many new growth opportunities for the Company. We wish all our former colleagues the best of luck.”
EREN Groupe and Delta Dore EMS share common values in serving the same vision: that the answer to today's and tomorrow's energy challenges lies in the optimised management of resources and in the promotion of alternative modes of energy consumption and production.
